Ge Cao
I am currently a Ph.D. student in Electrical & Computer Engineering at UIUC, working with Prof. Dr. Zhen Peng.
Previously, I received my master degree from Department of Mathematics in ETH Zürich, majoring in Computational Science and Engineering. My master thesis in Computer Graphics area was supervised by Prof. Dr. Markus Gross. I also worked with Prof. Dr. Ralf Hiptmair on the mathematics of BEM algorithms.
I received my Bachelor's degree in Theoretical and Applied Mechanics from University of Science and Technology of China in 2020, with a dual major in Computer Science and Technology. My Bachelor thesis of Molecular Dynamics was supervised by Prof. Dr. Fengchao Wang. I also worked with Prof. Dr. Detlef Lohse from University of Twente on the research of fluid dynamics.
I did my internship as a game developer at NetEase Games in 2020. After that, I also worked at Taichi Graphics from 2021 - 2023, as a graphic engineer intern.
My research focuses on machine learning, Multi-Physics simulation and computational methods.
